AMIEAust
Born in Suva, Fiji, Alvan Nair migrated to Australia in 1986. He attended Sale Catholic College from 1987 to 1992 and in 1993 underwent Aerospace System Engineering training at RMIT, completing the course in late 1994.
Alvan joined Ansett Australia in 1995 as an apprentice Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. During his time at Ansett Australia, Alvan trained in three aircraft trades.
Alvan has remained in the Aviation industry for nearly 25 years in various technical and management roles in the civil and defence industries.
