LCDR North has extensive engineering, leadership and management experience across ANZAC Class Frigate and Collins Class Submarine platforms both at sea and in engineering support and management roles ashore. He has made excellent use of his experience and leadership capabilities to improve the effectiveness of military hardware and the capability of those who serve and operate this equipment. Having held seagoing roles as the Marine Engineering Officer and shore-based roles leading teams of engineers, LCDR North has demonstrated an exceptional capacity to motivate teams toward the goal of maintaining complex assets and achieving the highest levels of operational capability through operator excellence.
