Edward Snowball is a hydropower engineer with Entura. His key focus is on development and sustainability of hydropower assets as a key technology for assisting the energy market transition to higher degrees of renewable energy penetration, ultimately reducing carbon emissions.
He has been a key contributor in the Tarraleah hydropower scheme redevelopment feasibility study focusing on the future energy market, and shared his findings in an industry knowledge-sharing report for the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA). Edward will continue to steer Tarraleah’s progression through to an investment decision and ultimately construction as part of Tasmania’s Battery of the Nation initiative.
