Genevieve De Michele is a civil and construction engineer working in infrastructure and transport advisory for government and private clients. She has been directly involved in planning, procuring, delivering and managing some of Brisbane and South East Queensland’s largest infrastructure projects, including include the Kingsford Smith Drive Upgrade Project, the Inner City Bypass Upgrade Project, the South-East Queensland Rail Network Strategy and Cross River Rail.
She has been responsible for driving community engagement in every project, has actively promoted the engineering profession to a younger, particularly female, generation, and is an advocate for improving mental health outcomes in the industry.
