Thomas Steigler is a Research Engineer with Group Engineering at Ampcontrol.
Prior to graduating from the University of Newcastle, he spent much of his free time in the student design competition Formula SAE. His dedication to CAE and advanced manufacturing led to a summer research scholarship and a casual academic position.
At Ampcontrol, Thomas has presented research to the IEC joint working group JWG45, led the pneumatic system design and testing of a medical ventilator achieving TGA emergency exemption approval, and acted as lead electrical design engineer for a collaborative, first of its kind residential hydrogen energy storage unit.
